Abstract:
To provide a negative pressure generation device for vehicle capable of letting a negative pressure device suitably generate negative pressure while suppressing a load on an engine.SOLUTION: A negative pressure generation device for vehicle comprises a communication passage 11 which connects a negative pressure device 50 and an intake passage 63 of an engine 60 together, a negative pressure pump 12 which operates by the engine 60 as a power source to let the negative pressure device 50 generate negative pressure, and a clutch device 13 which intermittently disconnects the engine 60 and the negative pressure pump 12, and is so configured that the clutch device 13 connects the engine 60 and negative pressure pump 12 when a rotating speed of the engine 60 is equal to or lower than a first rotating speed, and disconnects the engine 60 and negative pressure pump 12 when the rotating speed of the engine 60 is higher than the first rotating speed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
