Abstract:
To provide a method of producing nanovesicles comprising an oligonucleotide inhibitor of an oncogene or a proto-oncogene or a gene product thereof.SOLUTION: The method of producing nanovesicles comprises a) introducing into a mammalian cell a DNA sequence encoding an oligonucleotide capable of inhibiting a human oncogenic or proto-oncogenic transcription factor; b) allowing the cell to express the inhibitor oligonucleotide; and c) obtaining the nanovesicles containing the inhibitor oligonucleotide from the cell. The nanovesicles produced by the method can be effectively and specifically targeted to, e.g., cancer cells in order to deliver the inhibitor oligonucleotide.SELECTED DRAWING: None
