Abstract:
To provide a polyurethane resin aqueous dispersion, providing a dried coating exhibiting flexibility, mechanical physical properties (breaking strength and braking elongation), water resistance and chemical resistance, and especially useful as an ink binder for inkjet printing.SOLUTION: There is provided a polyurethane resin aqueous dispersion (Q) containing a polyurethane resin (U) manufactured by reacting an active hydrogen component (A) containing a polymer polyol component (a1), a compound having a hydrophilic group and an active hydrogen group (a2) and a chain extender (a3), with an organic polyisocyanate component (B), and an aqueous medium, and satisfying all of following (1) to (4): (1) (a1) contains 70 wt.% or more of polycarbonate diol having a hexamethylene group and a specific molecular weight; (2) 60 mol% or more of (B) is hexamethylene diisocyanate; (3) urethane group concentration of (U) is 1.0 to 2.4 mmol/g; and (4) urea group concentration of (U) is 0.20 to 0.70 mmol/g.SELECTED DRAWING: None
