Abstract:
To arrange an exhaust gas sensor without damaging detection accuracy of an exhaust gas component.SOLUTION: An arrangement structure of an exhaust gas sensor according to the invention includes an exhaust pipe (21) attached to an engine (14), a catalyst (60) for purifying exhaust gas of the engine, a chamber (23) connected to the downstream side of an exhaust pipe, and a downstream side sensor (90) for detecting a prescribed component in the exhaust gas. The catalyst is disposed in the chamber. A buffle pipe (70) which is bent to reverse an exhaust passage in the chamber is connected to a downstream end of the catalyst. At least a part of the buffle pipe, that is, a second bent pipe (72), is arranged along a side surface of the chamber. The downstream side sensor is attached to penetrate through the side surface of the chamber and the buffle pipe along the side surface of the chamber.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
