Abstract:
To provide a combustion gas quantity control device capable of surely adjusting a flow rate of a combustion gas without electrifying a heavy current, and a driving method therefor.SOLUTION: A combustion gas quantity control device comprises: a magnetic substance piece 3 which is moved together with a diaphragm valve 2 from a valve closed state to a valve opened state; a gas passage 14a which consists of a gas exit 14 and passes a combustion gas that passes between a valve seat 1b and the diaphragm valve; a valve body for gas quantity adjustment (needle) 5 which is inserted into the gas exit while keeping a predetermined clearance with an inner peripheral surface of the gas exit and moved together with the diaphragm valve from the valve closed state to the valve opened state; a yoke 7 to which a coil 6 that is electrified to generate a magnetic field is externally fitted and sucked with the magnetic substance piece in an electromagnetic manner by electrifying the coil; a motor 8 which moves the yoke in a moving direction of the diaphragm valve from the valve closed state to the valve opened state; and energizing means (first energizing means) 11 for energizing the diaphragm valve from a valve opened state side to a valve closed state side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
