Abstract:
To provide a flexible flat cable having low dielectric constant, small in variation of dielectric constant even with use, and used for high speed transmission, a manufacturing method therefor, and an unfoamed insulation tape used for the manufacturing.SOLUTION: There is provided a flexible flat cable 10 used for high speed transmission, having a plurality of conductors 1, 2 adhesive insulation layers 2 sandwiching the conductor 1, a resin film 3 sandwiching the 2 adhesive insulation layers 2, and a shield layer 5 arranged on at least one of the resin film 3. One or both of 2 adhesive insulation layers 2 consists of a resin selected from a polyphenylene ether resin formed with expansion ratio in a range of 1.81 to 2.25 and a copolymer thereof, a polystyrene resin and a copolymer thereof, a polyolefin resin and a copolymer thereof, and average diameter D of the foam particle is 15 μm to 40 μm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
