Abstract:
To appropriately control a temperature of combustion catalyst at activation of a power generation device.SOLUTION: A power generation device comprises: a fuel cell; combustion catalyst for burning an unburnt gas included in exhaust air of the fuel cell; a combustion catalyst heater that heats the exhaust air flowing into the combustion catalyst; and a controller. The controller turns on the combustion catalyst heater at activation of the power generation device, and turns off the combustion catalyst heater when such a state that a temperature in the vicinity of the combustion catalyst is equal to or more than a first predetermined temperature continues for a predetermined time period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
