Abstract:
To provide an ultrasonic motor capable of adjusting characteristics such as output torque and speed of rotation, a robot arm carrying the ultrasonic motor, and a mesh robot carrying the ultrasonic motor.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic motor 100 includes: a rotor shaft 3 having a first shaft 31 and a second shaft; an elastic member for applying force in a direction in which a first opening that is an opening at a base end side of the first shaft 31 and a second opening that is an opening at a base end side of the second shaft are made to approach; a stator 1 having an open hole through which the rotor shaft penetrates; and an ultrasonic wave generation element 2. The first and the second openings are provided while being opposed. An internal peripheral surface of the stator 1 is subjected to taper processing. The first shaft includes a first engaging section subjected to taper-shape processing in an outer periphery at a base end side. The second shaft includes a second engaging section subjected to taper-shape processing in an outer periphery at a base end side. An inner peripheral surface of the stator 1 engages with the first and the second engaging sections.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
