To provide a synthetic file generation device that enables setting of a print position simply.SOLUTION: A synthetic file generation device 50 includes a main generation unit 52 configured to generate a synthetic file. The main generation unit 52 includes: a first reference point acquisition unit 52c configured to acquire a position of a predetermined first reference point concerning an arrangement hole represented in palette data; a second reference point acquisition unit 52d configured to acquire a position of a second reference point corresponding to the first reference point concerning image data; and an image data arrangement unit 52e configured to superimpose image data on the palette data by causing the position of the second reference point to coincide with the position of the first reference point.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
