Abstract:
To switch whether or not to add water in a water added crimp binding device with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A sheet binding processing device includes: a processing tray on which sheets are placed; a pair of pressurizing teeth 82 having a crimping face for sandwiching and crimping the sheets placed on the processing tray; a water storing part provided on the reverse side of the pressurizing face of one of the pressurizing teeth for adding water to a pressurizing position of the sheets; a refilling pump part 150 for refilling the water storing part with water; a water adding piston part 104 for pressurizing the water in the water storing part and adding water to the sheets; a driving source for operating the water adding piston part, the refilling pump part, and the pressurizing teeth; and a switching part for switching between performing a water added crimp binding operation to add water and crimp the sheets, and performing a crimp binding operation to crimp the sheets without adding water, by switching driving directions of the driving source.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16
