Abstract:
To provide an illumination device, an imaging system and a display device for a vehicle in which a complicated impression is suppressed.SOLUTION: An illumination device 20 is mounted on a vehicle and emits illumination light for imaging a crew member of the vehicle. The illumination device 20 includes a surface emission section 21 which planarly emits the illumination light as near infrared light including light at a wavelength of an upper bound of visible light. The surface emission section 21 is set so that light intensity of the illumination light per unit area becomes smaller than a sensing limitation value CV as a lower limit value that enables a crew member to independently sense the light at the wavelength of the upper bound of the visible light, at the maximum place MP where the light intensity of the illumination light per unit area becomes the maximum. An imaging system includes an imaging device and the illumination device 20. A display device for the vehicle includes the surface emission section 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
