Abstract:
To provide an optical glass having optical characteristics of high refractive index high dispersion, and capable of contributing to correction of effect of temperature change on imaging characteristics.SOLUTION: An optical glass contains, by mass%, a BOcomponent of 1.0% to 35.0%, a LnOcomponent, wherein Ln is one or more kinds selected from a group consisting of La, Gd, Y, and Yb of total 8.0% to 50.0%, a BaO component of 10.0% to 45.0%, and having sum of mass TiO+ZrO+WO+NbO+TaOof 2.0% to 45.0%, and refractive index (n) of 1.75 or more, Abbe number (ν) of 18 to 42, and temperature coefficient (40 to 60°C) of relative refractive index (589.29 nm) in a range of +4.0×10to -10.0×10(°C).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
