Abstract:
To provide an organic EL display panel having a high pixel opening rate.SOLUTION: An organic EL display panel comprises: a substrate; a thin film semiconductor layer disposed on the substrate; a lower insulation layer disposed on the thin film semiconductor layer; an auxiliary electrode that is partially disposed on the lower insulation layer, that has a recessed part recessing to a substrate side, and that is for supplying power; an upper insulation layer disposed above the lower insulation layer and the auxiliary electrode; and an EL element disposed on the upper insulation layer. A contact hole that reaches the recessed part of the auxiliary electrode is provided in the upper insulation layer. The EL element comprises a pixel electrode that is disposed on a part where the contact hole in the upper insulation layer is not provided, a luminescent layer disposed on the pixel electrode, and a common electrode layer disposed on the luminescent layer and in the contact hole. In the contact hole, the common electrode layer is formed along a hole inner wall and an auxiliary electrode surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
