Abstract:
To provide a video coding method capable of improving coding efficiency.SOLUTION: A video coding method includes: a determination step (S901) of determining whether (a) a first picture in a reference picture list, including a co-located block, and (b) a picture to be coded belong to the same view; a correction step of correcting the position of the co-located block if it is determined that a picture including the co-located block and the picture to be coded belong to views different from each other; and an additional step (S907) of adding a motion vector derived from the co-located block to the list. The correction step includes the steps of: acquiring a parallax vector between a view to which a picture including the co-located block belongs and a view to which the picture to be coded belongs (step S903); and correcting the position of the co-located block by the parallax vector having been acquired (step S905).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 17
