Abstract:
To provide promoters suitable for parthenocarpic fruiting induction and parthenocarpic plants in which undesirable change in phenotype is inhibited.SOLUTION: The invention provides a plant reproductive organ-specific promoter DNA of which base sequence has 80% or more identity to a specific base sequence, a DNA construct comprising the promoter DNA and a gene (for example, parthenocarpic fruiting inducing gene) linked downstream to the promoter DNA, an expression vector comprising the DNA construct, a transformed parthenocarpic plant to which the DNA construct or the expression vector has been introduced, and a method for inducing reproductive organ-specific gene expression using the same.SELECTED DRAWING: None
