Abstract:
To provide an oral care assistance tool that is able to assist evaluation and improvement of a lip function by measuring potential of an orbicularis oris mascle, an oral cavity inner pressure, a lip contact pressure, lip tensile force, and so on.SOLUTION: An oral care assistance tool comprises: a planar base-material that can be sandwiched between upper and lower lips; an actuation electrode 103 provided on one or both sides of the planar base-material so as to come into contact with a part of the mouth lips when it is sandwiched between the upper and lower lips; a probe 150 having a reference electrode provided on the one or both the sides of the planar base-material so as to come into contact with another part of the lips when it is sandwiched between the upper and lower lips; a measurement part 151 that measures a potential difference between the actuation electrode 103 and a reference electrode; and a display part 152 that displays an amount of the measured potential difference.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
