Abstract:
To provide an SOx regulatory compliance ship which comprises two types of a fuel tank to store heavy fuel oil C (3.5% or less S) conventionally used and low sulfur fuel oil containing 0.1% or less sulfur which is stably supplied and conventionally used likewise, provides a facility to blend these two kinds of fuel oil in the ship, and can adjust to low sulfur fuel oil containing 0.5% or less sulfur complying with the SOx regulatory compliance.SOLUTION: The SOx regulatory compliance ship consists of the normal fuel oil tank to store normal fuel oil, the low sulfur fuel oil tank provided independently of the normal fuel oil tank to create low sulfur fuel oil, the fuel mixing valve to blend fuel oil from these both tanks in the prescribed ratio, the sensors installed in the exhaust pipe of the ship and to measure SO/COand the computing unit to determine the blending ratio of the fuel mixing valve based on the measured result by the sensors.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
