Abstract:
To provide an uninterruptible power supply which has a relay switch and of which the uninterruptible switching is possible in power recovery.SOLUTION: An uninterruptible power supply is provided with: a relay switch 2 which is connected between an AC input terminal IP and an AC output terminal OP for selectively supplying first AC voltage to a load; a rechargeable battery which supplies DC voltage; a DC-AC conversion circuit which is connected between the rechargeable battery and the AC output terminal for obtaining second AC voltage; and a control circuit for executing switching from a first state of supplying the second AC voltage obtained from the DC-AC conversion circuit to the load to a second state of supplying the first AC voltage of the AC input terminal to the load based on a detection result of a detection circuit for detecting a power recovery state of the first AC voltage. The uninterruptible power supply performs adjustment so that the second AC voltage is synchronized with the first AC voltage based on the detection result of the detection circuit, turns the relay switch on when the second AC voltage is synchronized with the first AC voltage, and stops the DC-AC conversion circuit after a predetermined period elapses after the relay switch is turned on.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
