Abstract:
To trim weight from a hydrant door in a fire hydrant apparatus including the hydrant door on a front face of a housing, the hydrant door opened/closed by rotationally turning a fire hose outlet in a longitudinal direction.SOLUTION: The fire hydrant apparatus includes a hydrant door 4 on the front face of a housing, the hydrant door opened/closed by rotationally turning a fire hose outlet, where the thickness of the hydrant door 4 gradually decreases from a side of a rotational shaft-side end portion 4b toward a side of a displacement-side end portion 4a. This configuration can trim weight from the hydrant door 4. Further, a moment when opening/closing the hydrant door 4 can be reduced to cause a damper to sufficiently work, thereby opening the hydrant door slowly and closing the hydrant door 4 with small force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
