Abstract:
To suppress the production of an inflammatory reaction substance due to complement activity by dispersing an acrylic copolymer consisting of specific hydrophobic and hydrophilic side chain structures into the membrane.SOLUTION: This invention, which is a hollow fiber membrane containing a water insoluble (meth)acrylate copolymer consisting of polyaryl sulfonic polymer, polyvinyl pyrrolidone and alkyl (meth)acrylate and methoxy polyethylene glycol (meth)acrylate, is a hollow fiber membrane the percentage content of the (meth)acrylate copolymer being 0.5-5 mass% when the hollow fiber membrane is measured by using nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, and the percentage content of the (meth)acrylate copolymer being 5-30 mass % when the inner face of the hollow fiber membrane is measured by using the X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.SELECTED DRAWING: None
