Abstract:
To support the operational management of a carriage for transporting to-be-transported materials.SOLUTION: A carriage operational management support device: creates a standard material flow chart representing a standard material flow rate for a certain period of time among a material supply source, a plurality of processes, and at least one of material sheds based on a production plan; calculates the number of carriages available to allot to each transportation source of to-be-transported materials for a certain period of time on the basis of the standard material flow chart, a predetermined rotational frequency of a carriage for a certain period of time, and an upper limit of loading amount enabling to load the to-be-transported materials on the carriage; calculates the standard number of carriages in total; acquires a transportation progress status of to-be-transported materials at a prescribed standard time included in a certain period of time from a progress information memory unit for memorizing progress information; creates a progress status display including the standard material flow rate and the transportation progress status of to-be-transported materials among the material supply source, the plurality of processes, and at least one of the material sheds; creates carriage information representing the operation status of each carriage of the standard number of carriages at the standard time; and displays the progress status display and the carriage information on a display unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
