Abstract:
To suppress product failure by preventing spatter caused in welding time from remaining stuck to a tip part of a guide pin or to a thread groove of a nut.SOLUTION: Nut welding equipment 10 comprises air-blow means blowing compressed air to spatter caused when welding a workpiece W and a nut N together. The air-blow means comprises: a pin hole 22a of a guide pin P, the pin hole 22a extending downward from a pedestal surface 10s of a lower electrode 10A; an air cylinder (driving means) 25 driving the guide pin P in the vertical direction; an air-blow hole 22b opening in a hole surface of the pin hole 22a; and a compressor C feeding the compressed air into the pin hole 22a via the air-blow hole 22b. The compressed air to be fed into the air-blow hole 22b from the compressor C is blown to the tip part of the guide pin P, and blown through to above the workpiece W and the nut N via the pin hole 22a when a tip part of the guide pin P reaches a position opposed to an opening part of the air-blow hole 22b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
