Abstract:
To provide a cutter device configured to suppress variation of angles to be formed by a movable blade and a fixed blade in a period from the time of starting to cut an object to be cut to the time of finishing cutting the object, so as to suppress deterioration in cutting performance, and a printer.SOLUTION: The cutting device comprises: a cutting part which has a fixed blade 21 and a movable blade 11 that slides with respect to the fixed blade 21 and cuts a sheet by engaging with the fixed blade 21 sequentially, from one end part toward the other end part thereof; a driving cam gear 12 that moves the movable blade 11; a cutter spring 13 that is connected to the movable blade 11 starting to cut the sheet to energize the movable blade 11; and a stabilizer 14 that makes adjustment so that variation of a nipping angle, an angle to be formed by a blade edge 11a of the movable blade 11 and a blade edge 21a of the fixed blade 21, projected on a plane orthogonal to a moving direction of the movable blade 11, in a period from the time of starting to cut an object to be cut to the time of finishing cutting the object.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
