Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method of a gear having sufficient strength, capable of supplying a lubricant to a meshing surface of the gear without requiring large energy.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a gear 100 includes the first rolling step for transferring linear first hollows C1 extending in the axial direction of a cylinder, at a prescribed interval in the circumferential direction of the cylinder, onto a side face of a workpiece W which is a cylindrical gear coarse material, and the second rolling step for transferring a second hollow C2 between adjacent first hollows C1 so as to raise both side parts of the plurality of first hollows C1, after the first rolling step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
