Abstract:
To provide a vehicular front section structure capable of elongating a buckling distance of a crash box part in comparison with conventional technologies.SOLUTION: A stay 40 is coupled to, at multiple coupling points W4 to W6, a middle part of a crash box part 23 of a front side member 20 in a vehicle back-and-forth direction, and the multiple coupling points W4 to W6 are provided in a plane orthogonal to the vehicle back-and-forth direction. Hence, unlike a case (conventional technologies) in which the coupling point between the stay 40 and the crash box part 23 is apart in the vehicle back-and-forth direction, when load toward the rear side of a vehicle is applied to the crash box part 23 when a collision occurs to the front section of the vehicle, the stay 40 is prevented from disrupting the buckling of the crash box part 23. Accordingly, in comparison with conventional technologies, a distance in which the crash box part 23 can buckle in the vehicle back-and-forth direction can be elongated, and thus the energy absorbing efficiency by the crash box part 23 can be enhanced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
