Abstract:
To provide a sanitary washing device capable of inhibiting a scale remover from being splashed on a user.SOLUTION: There is provided a sanitary washing device, which is to be installed in a toilet room, comprising: a nozzle for discharging water; a supply channel for supplying water to the nozzle; a tank provided on the supply channel; a remover input unit capable of inputting, to the tank, a remover for dissolving scale precipitated in the supply channel; a control unit for executing a scale removal mode having filling operation for filling the supply channel's downstream side than the tank with the remover input inside the tank, standby operation for standing by for a predetermined period of time after the filling operation, and discharging operation for discharging the remover from the supply channel after the standby operation; and human body detection means for detecting a human body in the toilet room. During the execution of the scale removal mode, the control unit temporarily stops the execution of the scale removal mode when a human body is detected by the human body detection means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
