Abstract:
To provide a differential unit which performs alignment at high accuracy while reducing a manufacturing load.SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method of a differential unit including an assembling process for assembling a differential case 22 having rigidity higher than that of a differential gear 21 into a hollow part 21a of the differential gear 21 so as to fit it into the hollow part, the method ironing-forms a region which is fit into the differential gear by making the differential case 22 abut thereon by using the differential case 22 and metal molds 11, 12, and after that, applies finish processing to an ironing-formed position of the differential gear 21, and the different case 22 which is fit into the region by co-machining.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
