Abstract:
To provide a differential gear which enables easy positioning of a position sensor which detects an operation state of an actuator, and to provide an adjustment method of the differential gear.SOLUTION: A differential gear 1 has: a differential case 2 rotatably supported by a differential carrier 10 fixed to a vehicle body; a differential gear mechanism 3 comprising multiple pinion gears 31 and side gears 32; a pinion gear shaft 4 pivotably supporting the multiple pinion gears 31; a cylindrical slide member 5 supporting the pinion gear shaft 4 in the differential case 2; an actuator 6 which moves the slide member 5 in an axial direction; and a position sensor 9 which is attached to a sensor attachment member 8 provided at the differential carrier 10 and may detect an operation state of the actuator 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
