Abstract:
To provide a bearing which has a coating layer and which can be manufactured in large quantities at low cost, and to provide a drive module.SOLUTION: A bearing 10 includes a coating layer 18 formed on an outer peripheral surface 24 of an outer ring 21. The coating layer 18 includes: a first material layer 43 formed on the outer peripheral surface 24 of the outer ring 21; and a second material layer 44 as an outer peripheral surface layer for forming an outer peripheral surface 35 of the coating layer 18 by a thermoplastic elastomer being heat welded on an outer peripheral surface 34 of the first material layer 43. The second material layer 44 is a material softer than the first material layer 43. The first material layer 43 includes: an outer peripheral surface layer 31 for covering the outer peripheral surface 24 of the outer ring 21; and a pair of side surface layers 31a, 31b for covering axial direction both side surfaces 21a, 21b of the outer ring 21 by being connected to both sides in the axis O direction of the outer peripheral surface layer 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
