Abstract:
To provide a pulverized-coal burner capable of stably igniting and burning pulverized coat even in a low burning region.SOLUTION: A pulverized-coal burner comprises a burning controller 25 which performs proportional control over opening levels of a flow rate adjusting valve 16 for fuel oil supply amount adjustment and a rotary valve 22 for pulverized coal cutting amount adjusting according to a burner opening level, and air blowing amounts of an air supply fan 5 for burning and a pressure feed fan 19 for pulverized coal air pressure feeding. The burning controller 25 has a burning pattern selection part 26 which makes a choice between a high burning pattern corresponding to a high burning region and a low burning pattern corresponding to a low burning region according to a burning region. The control is so performed to make increase/decrease adjustments, according to the high burning pattern, while keeping jet amounts of fuel oil and pulverized coal at a predetermined mixed burning rate, and to make, according to the low burning pattern, decrease adjustments by a heat quantity for keeping the jet amount of the pulverized coal constant without decreasing the fuel oil while keeping the jet amount of the fuel oil constant.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
