Abstract:
To provide an X-ray CT apparatus and an X-ray CT system, capable of executing a wide volume scan under the condition of respiration synchronization, the wide volume scan having been executed under the condition of breath holding, by shortening a waiting time between scan operation and bed driving operation.SOLUTION: An X-ray CT apparatus, according to an embodiment, capable of executing a wide volume scan in which a subject is not moved during a scan and the subject's position is moved during an inter-scan pause time, the X-ray CT apparatus comprising: a console to which a scan condition is input; an imaging unit for executing the scan; a drive unit for moving the subject's position; and a control unit that when receiving input of scan start from the console, directly controls the imaging unit and the drive unit without using the console to control execution of the wide volume scan.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
