Abstract:
To provide a particulate superabsorbent polymer composition which is endurable against processes of production and working an absorbent product without greatly reducing characteristics.SOLUTION: A particulate superabsorbent polymer composition contains a polymer containing a neutralized aluminum salt solution applied onto a surface of a particulate superabsorbent polymer, where an aqueous solution of the neutralized aluminum salt has a pH value of approximately 5.5 to approximately 8; the particulate superabsorbent polymer composition has average particle size distribution of 300-400 μm and initial free swollen gel bed permeability (FSGBP) of approximately 20×10cmto approximately 200×10cm; the particulate superabsorbent polymer composition after the particulate superabsorbent polymer composition has been subjected to a treatment test has a permeability stability index of approximately 0.60 to approximately 0.99, and has less than approximately 15 wt.% of particles having a particle size specified by standard sieve classification of more than 600 μm based on the particulate superabsorbent polymer composition.SELECTED DRAWING: None
