Abstract:
To provide a technology capable of preventing change of output acceleration of an SMA actuator resulting from change of an environmental temperature.SOLUTION: A controller 16 of a shape memory alloy actuator 20 using a shape memory alloy-based expandable member 24 capable of expanding/contracting with temperature change, comprises: a temperature information acquisition unit 30 configured to acquire temperature information indicating an environmental temperature around the expandable member 24; and an electrification control unit 32 configured to set application voltage applied to the expandable member 24 based on the temperature information acquired by the temperature information acquisition unit 30, and electrify the expandable member 24 with the set application voltage. The electrification control unit 32 is configured to set the application voltage lower as the environmental temperature becomes higher.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
