Abstract:
To provide a development device which can maintain a desired amount of a developer in a development container regardless of a change of fluidity of the developer.SOLUTION: A development container 31 includes a first conveyance chamber and a second conveyance chamber 33 communicating with each other. A discharge chamber 50 is provided at a further downstream side with respect to a downstream side end of the second conveyance chamber 33 with respect to a conveyance direction of the developer in the second conveyance chamber 33. The discharge chamber 50 is connected with the second conveyance chamber 33 through a connection part 40. A discharge blade 52 is provided in the discharge chamber 50, and the discharge blade 52 conveys the excessive developer in the development container 31 toward a developer discharge port 51a. A bottom part 51B in the discharge chamber 50 is at a higher position than a bottom part 33B in the second conveyance chamber 33. A regulation part 35c regulates movement of the developer to a discharge chamber 50 side. An inclination part 41 is provided in the connection part 40 between the discharge chamber 50 and the second conveyance chamber 33, is inclined with respect to a rotational shaft direction of a second conveyance member 35 and connects the bottom part 51B in the discharge chamber 50 and the bottom part 33B in the second conveyance chamber 33.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
