Abstract:
To solve the problem that a secondary battery used for an electric automobile or a hybrid automobile is desired for having sufficient reliability because it has a greater contribution to use for a long period, and so the secondary battery used for the electric automobile or the hybrid automobile needs to have a high voltage and heat resistance.SOLUTION: An ion liquid is used as an electrolyte of a secondary battery, and means for heating the electrolyte through an external casing is provided. The means for heating the electrolyte heats the electrolyte to 30°C or more and 100°C or less, and more preferably to 40°C or more and 50°C or less. By heating the secondary battery, the charging and the discharging with higher current density can be executed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
