Abstract:
To provide a mechanism and a communication control method for realizing releasing of an UP resource corresponding to a PDU session and recognition by a terminal device of a fact that the UP resource has been released while maintaining PDU session establishment with respect to the specific PDU session.SOLUTION: In a procedure for releasing an UP resource, the terminal device and the device in a core network realize releasing of an UP resource corresponding to a PDU session while maintaining establishment of the PDU session with respect to a specific PDU session by exchanging information indicating that PDU sessions are maintained. Furthermore, in the procedure of releasing UP resources, by exchanging information indicating that only the UP resources are released, the recognition of the terminal device that the UP resource associated with the specific PDU session has been released is realized.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
