Abstract:
To provide an outer rotor type brushless motor capable of achieving desired motor performance by surely fixing a magnet piece to a normal position without positional misalignment after field magnets are adhered to an inner circumferential surface of a rotor case, improving productivity by omitting the positioning operation of the magnetic piece by a complicated jig, and applying irrespective of a type of field magnet.SOLUTION: A step 11 is formed on a peripheral surface 8a of a bottomed cylindrical rotor case 8 made of a magnetic material for improving rigidity. A total of 14 magnet pieces 9a are arranged and bonded in a circumferential direction on an inner peripheral surface of the rotor case 8. At that time, using a stepped surface 11a formed by the step 11, an annular spacer ring 12 made of a non-magnetic material is interposed between the stepped surface 11a and each magnet piece 9a to position each magnet piece 9a in a vertical direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
