Abstract:
To provide a carrier catalyst high in catalyst activity in a low temperature side and excellent in durability, a generation method of sulfur dioxide, and a hydrogen generation method.SOLUTION: There is provided a carrier catalyst consists of a carrier body in which a catalyst composition is carried by a carrier, in which the catalyst composition contains platinum and the carrier contains tantalum oxide (TaO). There is provided a generation method of sulfur dioxide having a process for decomposing sulfur trioxide into sulfur dioxide and oxygen by using the carrier catalyst. There is provided a hydrogen generation method, in which an elementary reaction of a reaction for decomposing sulfuric acid into water, sulfur dioxide, and oxygen (SO→SO+1/2O) is conducted by using the generation method of the sulfur dioxide.SELECTED DRAWING: None
