Abstract:
To provide a boarding bridge capable of synchronizing axles of a plurality of wheel portions, and reducing a horizontal load which wheels receive from the ground at swiveling.SOLUTION: A boarding bridge 1 is equipped with: a passage portion 3; a pair of wheel portions 8 which has a plurality of wheels 19 provided across an axis in a longitudinal direction of the passage portion 3 with respect to the passage portion 3 and moves the passage portion 3; a pair of swiveling portions which is respectively provided on the wheel portions 8 and rotates the wheel portions 8 about a swiveling shaft in a vertical direction; and swiveling synchronizing portions respectively coupled with the swiveling portions. The swiveling synchronizing portion has a first mechanism which makes directions of the plurality of wheels 19 with respect to the axis in the longitudinal direction of the passage portion 3 same; and a second mechanism which can simultaneously adjust the directions of the plurality of wheels 19 so as to match the directions of all of the plurality of wheels 19 with a tangential direction of a swiveling track.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
