Abstract:
To provide a position fixing jig capable of respectively positioning and fixing components to boot bands with different sizes without changing and replacing and a clamping device capable of clamping the boot bands by using such a position fixing jig.SOLUTION: There is provided a position fixing jig for fixing positions of a boot and a boot band during clamping work for contracting a diameter of the boot band for fixing the boot installed on a constant velocity universal joint. A receiving tool for receiving the boot band while being externally fitted with the boot is disposed so as to reciprocate in a diametrical direction. An elastic member elastically pressing the receiving tool to the boot band side is additionally provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
