Abstract:
To provide an optical module allowing reliability improvement and cost reduction, and an optical module manufacturing method.SOLUTION: An optical module 100 comprises: a mirror unit 40 including a movable mirror part 10; a magnet part 50 generating magnetic field acting on the movable mirror part 10; and a package 60 storing the magnet part 50. The magnet part 50 has a Halbach structure including a first magnet 51 and a second magnet 52. The package 60 includes: a bottom wall part 61 supporting an area 51b of the first magnet 51; a side wall part 62 supporting a lateral face 50s; and a restriction part 63 covering at least part of an area 52a of the second magnet 52 to thereby restrict the movement of the second magnet 52 to a second direction D2. The movable mirror part 10 is arranged in a space SP formed by a top face 50f of the magnet part 50 and the restriction part 63.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
