Abstract:
To provide a connector having good workability, enabling an FPC 40 or FFC to securely press a contacting part 22 of a contact 14 with a slider 16 without damaging strength, specifications, etc. of each part, and enabling a narrow pitch and a low profile.SOLUTION: The connector includes an elastic part 34 and a fulcrum part 32 that are disposed between a contacting part 22 and a connection part 24 of the contact 14. The contacting part 22, the elastic part 34, the fulcrum part 32 and the connection part 24 are arranged in a substantial crank shape. The connector further includes a pressure reception part 20 extending from the elastic part 34 at a position opposite to the connection part 24, and also a pressing part 36 communicating with a slider 16 in the longitudinal direction. The pressing part 36 rotatably mounts the slider 16 on a housing 12 between the connection part 22 of the contact 14 and the pressure reception part 20, thereby achieving the low profile.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
