Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method of a tufted carpet and a device therefor, capable of controlling stably heating in fusing pile fibers and a base fabric having the pile fibers implanted and of adjusting the heating state, thereby simply securing durability such as fuzz resistance (fuzz strength) for holding the pile fibers without precoating by latex.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a tufted carpet comprises: a calender roll 2 which comes in contact with the back stitch side of pile fibers P in a base fabric C1 having the pile fibers P implanted to melt the pile fibers P on the back stitch side, and can be heated to a temperature higher than the melting point Tof the pile fibers but lower than the melting point Tof the base fabric C1; and a contact angle-setting mechanism 6 which sets a contact angle θ between the base fabric C1 having the pile fibers P implanted and the calender roll 2 by making a relative position of rotary support shafts 31a and 32a of guide rolls 31 and 32 disposed before and behind the calender roll 2 to a rotary support shaft 2a of the calender roll 2 variable.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
