Abstract:
To provide a technique with which it is possible to measure the oscillation count of an aerial wire by only mechanical operation.SOLUTION: Provided is an aerial wire oscillation counter for measuring the number of times an aerial wire laid between a pair of steel towers has oscillated, comprising: a housing for grasping the aerial wire and constituting the outer shape of the aerial wire oscillation counter; a pendulum suspended in the short direction of the aerial wire inside the housing and maintaining the suspended direction in a vertically downward direction when the posture of the housing changes in response to the oscillation of the aerial wire; a gear mechanism provided inside the housing and rotated by relative oscillation of the pendulum to a change of the housing posture; and a display unit connected to the gear mechanism and displaying information pertaining to the oscillation count of the aerial wire in correspondence to the amount of rotation of the gear mechanism.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
