Abstract:
To provide an image processing apparatus, an image forming apparatus, and a program capable of flexibly adjusting the thickness of a line or character in an image as compared to a case in which a pixel value is always uniformly adjusted for a boundary between a pixel indicating a line or character and a pixel indicating not a line or character.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 10A includes an adjusting unit 34 that adjusts a pixel value corresponding to a target pixel based on a pixel values of a neighboring pixel that is a first pixel located in the vicinity of the target pixel when the number of adjusted pixels whose pixel values are adjusted by the pixel value of the first pixel located in the vicinity of the target pixel is less than a threshold value in an adjustment region defining a second pixel along a boundary with the first pixel indicating a portion of a line or character in an image, which is not a portion of the line or character, as the target pixel in advance, and at least one of the adjustment region and the threshold value can be changed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
