Abstract:
To provide a basic policy on how a mobile terminal distributes available transmission power under a situation where required transmission power for transmitting through a random access channel (PRACH) exceeds transmission power available for uplink transmission, and to provide a method for distributing the transmission power.SOLUTION: When first PRACH transmission in a first sub-frame on a first component carrier and second PRACH transmission in a second sub-frame on a second component carrier overlap in a time domain and when total transmission power of both of the first PRACH transmission and the second PRACH transmission exceeds a transmission power value Pset to a terminal device, in a portion where the first PRACH transmission in the first sub-frame and the second PRACH transmission in the second sub-frame overlap, transmission power for the second PRACH transmission in the second sub-frame is adjusted so that the total transmission power after adjustment does not exceed the P.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16
