Abstract:
To provide a new resin porous body which is excellent in adsorption ability and desorption ability, and is suitably usable for applications of an adsorbent, a storage material and the like.SOLUTION: In a first embodiment, a resin porous body is provided which includes a resin having a naphthalene skeleton, and in which a circular opening diameter showing a peak in a circular opening diameter distribution measured in the range of 0.1-400 nm is 1-100 nm. In a second embodiment, a resin porous body is provided which is identical to the resin porous body in the first embodiment except that a BET specific surface area is 300 square meter/g or more. In a third embodiment, a resin porous body is provided which is identical to the resin porous body in the first or the second embodiment except that the resin porous body is a polycondensation body of a naphthalene compound having a naphthalene skeleton and a hydroxyl group directly bonded to the naphthalene skeleton, and of an aldehyde compound.SELECTED DRAWING: None
