Abstract:
To reduce blowing noise while suppressing an increase of the blowing resistance of a centrifugal blower.SOLUTION: In a centrifugal blower 10, a spiral passage part 16 which is formed at a casing 18 is constituted of an internal peripheral wall 40 being a fan 14 side, an external peripheral wall 42 formed at an external peripheral side of the internal peripheral wall 40, an upper wall part 44 and a lower wall part 46 which are formed at the fan 14 in an axial direction. Rough faces 48 which are irregularly, convexly and concavely formed by, for example, emboss processing are formed at inner faces of the internal peripheral wall 40, the external peripheral wall 42, the upper wall part 44 and the lower wall part 46. A turbulent flow is generated in air flowing in the passage part 16 by the irregular rough faces 48, the flow is thereby rectified, and blowing noise is reduced while suppressing an increase of blowing resistance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
