Abstract:
To provide a hydraulic work machine capable of improving initial responsiveness of a hydraulic actuator while securing an energy saving property, the hydraulic work machine being configured to increase/decrease a discharge flow rate of a hydraulic pump in response to an operation amount of an operation lever.SOLUTION: A hydraulic shovel comprises a controller 20 for calculating an actuator target flow rate that is a target value of a flow rate to be supplied to hydraulic actuators 5a, 6a and 7a in accordance with operation amounts of operation levers 15a, 16a and 17a, calculating a pump target flow rate that is a target value of a discharge flow rate of hydraulic pumps 30 and 31 in accordance with the actuator target flow rate, and controlling the discharge flow rate of the hydraulic pumps in accordance with the pump target flow rate. In the hydraulic shovel, the controller corrects the pump target flow rate by adding a predetermined correction flow rate that is greater than a pump minimum flow rate of the hydraulic pumps, to the pump target flow rate until the lapse of a predetermined correction time after operation of the operation levers from a neutral position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
