Abstract:
To provide a working medium for an absorption refrigerator that can highly inhibit corrosion of a structural material, and the absorption refrigerator using the same.SOLUTION: A working medium for an absorption refrigerator includes a propanol water solution as a refrigerant, and a corrosion inhibitor. The corrosion inhibitor includes one or more of an alkali metal salt, an alkaline-earth metal salt, and an oxyacid salt. The alkali metal salt is a hydroxide of an alkali metal, and the alkaline-earth metal salt is a hydroxide of an alkaline-earth metal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
